Found out the JLAM-23 was going to bring the HJ through town doing normally
what would be done by a JCEL crew, so I took advantage of it. This usually
happens on Saturday, but things are behind this weekend. This the first real
train chasing done with the new digital SLR, so some shots turned out bright. I'm
used to the film camera where I usually have to bump the shutter up one from
what the light meter says. The digital doesn't like it when I do that.
The crew has doubled the HJ with last night Chicagos from the JMA and is ready to depart
Conductor Jeremy Kramer relays a message to his engineer Paul Swanson as they depart Milton Jct.
The train rolls south past Kennedy Rd. in Milton. This is one that is a little bright.
Townline Rd south of Milton. Another bright one.
The crew has put tonights JH power away and has gotten the Chicago power out and
is getting ready to head back up the hill to the north side of Janesville where
they cut their train away.
Those damn foamers waiting for the crew to get the power ready to go back up the hill.
The crew has gotten their train and is coming down the hill across Five Points in Janesville.
By the roundhouse.
South Wye now on the Fox Lake Sub.
And the final shot will be by Delavan Dr. near the GM Plant
